M is for Muffin

A man’ s best friend.  A dog. My dog Muffin.

Muffin is my Best Friend. He is friendly, cute and a little rascal. He is 3 years old and was born in Quebec. Muffin is my Best Friend.

Muffin is the friendliest dog I have ever met. When I sit on the couch all alone he comes and plops himself on me. When I’m hurt or sad he smothers my face by licking it to make me feel better. Muffin is also the cutest dog ever. He is a brown, grey and caramel colored ball of fun. If you ever have the chance to meet my dog you will notice that he has the biggest googly eyes, which makes it hard not to give in. Muffin is the friendliest and cutest dog ever!

Muffin isn’t always the perfect dog; he can also be a little cheeky rascal. He runs really fast around the house when he wants attention. When my parents are having a conversation he feels left out and starts to bark. He is such a girl because he needs the comfiest pillows or he just won’t use it. What a princess!  This isn’t a good thing, but it is funny.  Whenever Muffin goes downstairs in the basement he finds my stuffed animals and literally eats them. All my stuffed animals now are either torn up or eaten.  Even if Muffin runs around the house, barks for attention, is picky and eats my stuffed animals he is still my best friend.

A famous quote by Josh Billings: “A dog is the only one that loves you more than he loves himself.” I can really relate to this quote because usually people love themselves before they love others. Muffin comes to me when I’m sad or hurt even if he doesn’t feel like it. When we are taking a walk he waits for me if I have to tie my shoe or sit down. In summary my dog thinks of me before himself and we should love others before ourselves.

Life Lesson: Love your dog even if he is the tiniest bit annoying.
